| Since
the 1700's the Stockton name has been synonymous with building throughout
Georgia and South Carolina. J.C. Stockton & Son, a well known
construction company in Augusta, GA, was founded during the depression
years. J.H. Stockton, son and chairman of the board for more than
fifty years, was the most sought-after builder in the Central Savannah
River Region.
J. H. Stockton had seven grandchildren one of which carried the
Stockton name, Todd Stockton Scudder. Todd learned early why his
grandfather's company was such a success. During his tenure at J.C.
Stockton & Son, he had the opportunity to work on projects for
customers such as Kimberly Clark Corp., Castelberry Food Corp.,
Toro Textiles Corp., Georgia Railroad Banks, and countless others.
Using the same principles as his grandfather, Todd moved back to
Ocala, Florida where he founded Scudder and Company, Inc. in 1980.
The firm's list of services include new construction, remodeling
and construction management. Todd is respected among business, industrial,
financial, and other professional groups throughout Central Florida.
Customers who do business with Scudder and Company, Inc. can be
assured that quality, craftsmanship, and on time delivery are second
to none. Skill, honesty, and integrity have been a trademark for
the company since its founding.
